I was on the net earlier and was looking at scrapbooking supplies,(as normal), and I can't help but to be drawn to certain things. I love pretty much anything to do with scrapbooking, but its like I'm a paper-aholic! I have SOOOOO much paper, but I can't help but buy more when I see some I like. I always think, well what if I can't get it later, or what if I forget about it? So I always buy it! Terrible, I know. My mom even picks on me about it! I definitely have an over abundance of paper though, I can go and be looking threw my things and find stuff I can't even remember buying! But then I'm always like, Yippee!! I have something to play with!

So my question is to you, What item do you keep buying even though you have plenty???

Well time is passing slow here, we've all been constantly sick, everything from Swine flu, stomach virus, croop, and now pneumonia. Its crazy!! I love fall and winter, but at this point I'm already ready for it to be over!!lol Anyways...

Well looks like we have a winner!! Sherrie!! I will be sending out her book here in the next couple of days! I hope you enjoy! I know there wasn't a big response to the give away this time, but I'm going to keep trying! Hopefully things will pick up!!

Well I guess my first attempt at a blog give away was unsuccessful. I guess I'll have to try something else..... Not quite sure what though.........

Well I haven't posted any words yet from the list for BINGO. I haven't gotten many e-mails with there lists added so I'm going to postpone it for another week and see how many people we get to play, and if we don't get more people we may just do this give away in another way.

Were all sick here at my house again!! It just keeps happening,lol. I guess maybe its just that time of year, but it sucks! Me, my mom and my kids went to Florida to visit some family last month and we all got sick there, stayed sick pretty much the whole time. My mom was the only one who didn't get sick, until we got home. We've been back for a little over 2 weeks and she's still sick and I've got it again to! Ahhhh. I always get it more than once, especially now that I have a little one in school, I guess I get to look forward to it more.

I do have to say that I'm loving the weather though! Its got to where its in the 60's in the morning and maybe in to the mid 80's by the time I pick my oldest up from school. It went from being outrageously hot all day every day, to this. And were all loving it. More out side time, when were feeling good that it.lol.

Well I'm going to go and try and re coop some and with in the next couple days I'll be posting a picture of the mini album that will be for the blog bingo and I'll post the 100 words.

I was looking around Etsy's Forums and promoting my shop, when I came across this blog.Akane Designs, She does featured seller interviews, free tutorials, giveaways, discounts, business tips and so much more! Right out of the forums that is.lol. So I went and checked it out and I love her blog! Shes got a great shop of her own as well that you can check out from her blog!

She gives you featured sellers and with the interviews its hard not to go and check out there shop! Her blog gives you so much to look at, Shes got it all together! I have to admit, I would love to have my blog together like her! Will see how that goes in the future,lol. But I'm doing better already! I've posted more this month than I have in a while,lol. Well I've been thinking about doing some give a ways here on my blog. I've got some good ideas from other bloggers and I think I've decided on Blogger Bingo! I'd chooses 100 words, post them here on the blog, You'd pick 20 of those words and e-mail them to me. Every day I'd post 4 words and starting on Fridays it would be double, 8 words for fri-sun. New beginigns....

Wow, is it just me or was summer extremely short?? It seemed to go by in a flash! I've been working on new shaped albums and of course the albums I've always done. I haven't added anything in a while though. I figured I'd make a bunch up and then add them. I thought I'd have a lot more time to do stuff too, But having the two little ones running around and being gone for a part of the summer and then getting back just in time for my oldest to start school! Whooo, its been a whirl when summer!lol I've been playing with some new stuff for me, like acrylic. Its fun to play with, there's so much you can do with it. And Of course I've been playing with lots of chipboard. I've been getting a lot of ne papers, ribbons and other embellishments.I've also been trying to get caught up on my own personal scrapbooking,lol. I dont think you can ever catch up, especialy when you have little ones that are still growing! Anyways...

Well hopefully I can remember to up date my blog here again soon, maybe even with some new pictures,lol. Hi to everyone who reads it and sorry for the long delays in between.

It's July now, so its time for a Christmas in July Sale!! Technically it doesn't start till the 6Th, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up!!

I was checking etsy out today, just looking at whats new. And when I went back to the main page, there were these glasses that had cool little robots etched into them. So of course I has to check it out! They have glasses, coffee cups, shot glasses, rings, necklaces, and more stuff. I personally love the robots and rocket ships, but I have two boys who love that stuff as well. But the coffee cup necklace is pretty cool to, my mom loves coffee,lol. I think I could get something for everyone in my family from this shop. But I'd have to keep it at my house,lol. They could all have there own cup or something,lol.

I've just recently been able to be at home full time again, I'm being able to do more with my book and my blog. So now that I am home more I hope that my blog here will pick up more!! If you ask me, It's kind of been suffering!! lol :)

I've got more mini albums coming too! I've had these 5x5 minis for a while but it always bothered me that they sat open, so now I've added a ribbon so that they can be tied shut! Hope that makes others happy, I like it better at least.lol. I've also got some new shaped albums coming and other themes!!

I must be lame!! I can't manage to keep up with my blog, how sad is that?? I'll just have to try harder hu??

Well I do have a TON of new stuff that I'm working on!! I can't wait to get more of it up in my shop. This past week I added four new items! It had been a while since I had added anything, but there's that.lol But as of this moment I'm working on a cute little D-ring album. I've gotten some of the newest paper lines, so that I can keep current, but I still have my oldie that I love!

Well I'll write more latter....I'm thinking about getting a give away together, sound good?? Well I have tons to do, between work, family and my etsy shop, I'm swamped!! lol More later!!

The past few weeks.....

Well I haven't wrote in a while, but I've been doing quite a bit lately. I've took some time off from my shop and did some of my own personal scrapbooking. I have a lot to catch up on, which will never happen!! lol But that's ok, because then I always have something to do. I've also just recently got one of my really good friends to start scrapbooking and shes addicted already!! Lol. I did for worn her thought that it was addicting at least. She loves it and has now started her own album. Its always fun to add more people to the crops!!

This past week I went out and bought some of the new scrapbooking paper from SEI and My Mind's Eye. I love them, not sure exactly what I'm going to do with them yet but I'll find something, I'm sure of that! I'm waiting on some of the other products from CHA to come out either online or in the local stores so I can get them,lol. But I do have this little problem when it comes to scrapbooking paper though...... I love it and sometimes I'll keep some for quite a while, weeks, months sometimes even longer, before I can convince myself to cut it up and use it, a lot of it I just think is too cute to cut up,lol. But I think other scrappers have the some problem. lol.

But other then that we've all been sick at my house. The crud! Not fun!! It started out with my youngest having an ear infection and then my oldest started throwing up, and then it passed itself on to me and my hubby and then to my parents. I know its that time of year and all, but I'm ready for the crud to go away! I'm ready for spring! But then comes with that is allergies! lol If its not one thing its another, hu?

I haven't posted anything in a while now, my reason for that is that my camera broke and I cant put any of my pictures up. That makes me so sad. :( I miss my camera so much. I'm kind of a freak about taking pictures and I haven't had a real camera for a few months now. I've been having to us different disposable cameras. I have a 35mm, film camera but I don't have a working flash either, so I'm just kinda screwed. I have two little ones and no camera to catch all the goofy things they do. I'm really hoping to get one for Christmas, but I'm hoping I get it as an early present. This is the first year that my youngest realizes whats going on, so I want to catch that. But Will see. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

But to everyone I hope that the Holiday season is treating you well and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!!! Hopefully I'll be posting more after the Holidays!!

Fish Food

I have to say that Ben & Jerry's Fish food ice cream is my favorite!! Use to be mint chocolate chip, but now that's my second fav. But I was in the forums on Scrapbookers club house, posting my daily question, which is one thing I do as guest design team member, and my question had to do with ice cream. I thought it was cool to see how many different answers there were. I mean I know there is tons of people out there and I know everyone has different tastes, but it was cool to see. Well I wrote that Fish food was my fav. and I had someone say that they didn't think they could eat anything called fish food.lol. I understand, with the name and everything but its DELICIOUS!!
I mean look at all the good ingredients there are in it! SOOOO GOOD!!! lol. So if anyone is wanting some ice cream right now or is looking for something new to try, I'd totally suggest this!! Its got a little of all the things a girl needs, guys you to, if you love chocolate and caramel and gooey marshmallow!! Like I said I love this stuff!!!

late nite and wired....

Its about 12:00 am here and I'm just hopping around in the etsy chat rooms, just seeing what everyone's up to. I want and need to be scrapbooking, but I have no mojo. My MOJO is gone :(!!!
So dose anyone have any ideas??? If anyone has an idea that they think I might like or use, or maybe you have a layout or altered project that you dont mind me showing here on my blog, send me an e-mail and pic of the LO or other thing at scrapadot@yahoo.com. I'd love to see what someone else thought. lol. Well other than that I'm listening to the radio here online, head phones on trying to ignore the noise from my hubby's game, lol.

Lately it feels like everything's going so fast,lol. School started, and stuff around here at home are moving faster too! We've been playing in the yard a lot, but there's SOOOOO many maskitos! I really dont like them! But the kids loce playing ball in the back yard, we all just have to deal with the bug gites,lol. I found a little lizzerd on the back porch when we were out here last night. He was a cute little thing, just a baby! He might have been about 2 1/2 inches long, so small.lol He was so cute! Theres been more around here recentley, I can deal with lizzards, the eat bugs,lol.

Scrapbooking Olympics

At Scrapbookers club house there doing an Olympication, everyone should stop by and check it out! But Its been keeping me busy between the kids being sick and me being sick. But its been a blast. It gives you great ideas for pages and they even give little tid bits about the Olympics. I have to admit I haven't finished as many of the challenges as I want to but I'm trying!! But I've also been bouncing around the site doing other challenges. Theres always something going on at this site, its so much fun!

Now with all of us being sick and all..... Me and my hubby got sick first and it only lasted from about 12-20 hours, but when it came to the little one, the first time they were sick for about four days each and then it came around a second time for us all. My mom and dad even got it!! Its not been fun. Alls I really wanted to do for a few days was try and catch up on sleep, but its kinda hard to do when your an insomniac, especially when you have two little ones that like to get up early,lol. Oh well, were all feeling better, now its just allergies,lol. We even went to get you youngest shots the other day and I was so dreading that! But we got there and he ended up not having to get them!!!! I was SOOOO happy! He had been sick and was finally in a good mood and I thought I was going to have to get him shots and ruin his good moon. After the doctor appointment we went scrapbook shopping,lol. Its my addiction!

My oldest even picked some papers and embellishments out for me. Its becoming something he likes to sit down and do with me, I love that! I'll sit on the computer with him, let him pick out pictures and them his papers and stuff and will sit and start scrapping. I let him use his little kiddie scissors so the cutting isn't that great yet, but its just the point of it, at least it is to me. Its something he still likes to do with mommy.lol. Well its getting late and I have tons of scrapbooking left to get started.......

Back from the craft fair...

Ok well this past weekend didn't go to well but thats alright, it was my 1st craft fair and I found out that it was the 1st time this one had ever happened. But like I said, it didn't go to well. Over 100 degrees outside and not a lot of shade. But I already am looking in to more craft fairs, I'm not going to give up after one. But this time I'll know everything about it before I go!! Other than that the weekend was good.

My hubby, our boys and I had dinner at my parents Sunday night and that morning I even got to sleep in!!! Yay!!! And I got to get some of my own scrapbooking done. I've also been siting in on the forums on scrapbookers club house.Were all waiting to see who made the design team, but its fun to just see whats going on there. Theres always something!! And its a blast,lol.

Well I'm getting ready to head off the the craft fair. I googled the map and know where I'm going, I have a friend going with me but I'm still a little nervous. This is my first one and I'm worried about two things: Do I have enough?? and how do I set up my table?? lol. I'm such a dork and I hate second guessing myself!! I'll be fine, I know I will be, Always positive!!! :)

Here a new album that I've done, but haven't put in my shop yet. I made it for the craft fair that I'm doing, I'd love to keep it though. lol But I don't have a little girl so it'll go for sale at the craft fair and if it doesn't sell there, it'll go in my shop. But I love it and it was fun to make. I love Pink and brown together and all the little flowers that are in it, with all the little rhinestones, So girly!! lol

Busy, Busy

Well I'm in the proses of doing so many things right now,lol. This week is kinda hectic. Tomorrow I have to take the hubby to get a root canal, eek! Me and a few of my friends are doing a huge yard sale for the next couple of days. It was definitely time to clean out the house!! I guess a little late spring cleaning, hu? I'm also trying to get on the design team of a really cool web site, Scrapbooker's Club House I just finished uploading my pictures to the album for the DT call, so I'm kinda nervous about that, heres crossing my fingers!!! Then Friday scrapping with some friends, so thats a little time to relax, witch is nice and then Saturday I'm doing my very first craft fair!!! My week doesn't really seem that busy but I guess its the fact that I'm trying to get everything together for Saturday. lol. I'll get everything together and have fun with it.

This is the kind of thing that I love though!!! I love to have deadlines and I love to stay busy! All of this stuff and then 2 kids, a hubby, a dog and our house to take care of,lol. Lots to do, Its fun to stay busy though!! My oldest son is getting to where he wants to try and sit down and scrap with me, so thats nice. He loves to paint, he actually painted me a picture today. I'll have to upload it later, It's so cute!! He painted me 2 and Daddy 1 ,lol. He made sure to put purple on my 2, he said that makes it a girl painting.lol. He's to cute!!! Well hopefully after this weekend is over I'll have some new photos to put up of some of the things that went on this weekend. I'm also going to put up some pics of the pictures my son painted up.

My mom has opened her own shop on etsy!!! DebbieSmyles , I'm so happy that shes done it at last, theres been a few of us trying to get her to do it for a while now,lol. Its getting to be a family thing with us. lol. My sister-in- law introduced me to etsy, Wylesstyle, her mom has a shop as well, SherrieLeeBerrie, and now so dose my mom!! I love it!! So far my mom has scrapbooks in her shop, but she crochets, paints, sews and much, much more,lol. So I'm pretty sure she's going to have a variety of things in her shop.

Berry Pickin'

Well I don't write much here on my blog and I'm trying to change that and I have said before that I'm not big on sharing personal info on the net, but I need stuff to talk about,lol. I guess I just wont share specifics. So here it goes.
I've been wanting to do something, like have a family day, so this weekend my hubby kinda surprised me and got us all together and loaded us up in the truck and we all went out berry picking. Well we had fun, the day was great. There was even a nice breeze blowing and we got some good pictures. We got home that night and everyone took there showers and went to bed. The next morning 3 out of 6 of use woke up with red bug bites. Now if you don't know what these things are, I'm right there with ya. I didn't know what they were till that day, I mean I've heard them but never had them. There little bugs in the woods and they bite you and make you swell up and itch, NOT NICE AT ALL!!! So my hubby has them and so do I and his stopped itching, and he thinks its kinda funny to see me stop all of a sudden and start scratching against something or with my foot behind my knee. It just isn't fun at all. My husband picks around and says thats what I get for wanting a full family day and then he laughs, ha ha not. The day was great and we all had fun until the next day,lol.

I got an e-mail from my sister-in-laws mom the other day, Shes a fellow etsian now as well...stop by and check out her shop at SherrieLeeBerry
She told me about a blog that was doing sketch challenges and looking for people to participate. She told me that I should try and get involved, well I did and this is going to be the picture thats going to be posted. The womens name is Noella and shes a sweet heart. I wrote her an e-mail telling her I was interested in getting involved with her sketches challenge and she wrote back and gave me a sketch to intemperate myself. So this is what I did.
Just a note, I'm not big on putting my kids pictures on the net for just anyone to see, I'm weirded out by anyone getting to see there picture that I don't know, I guess that can sound odd, but thats why theres not really much of anything about my personal life on my blog. That might change in the future but I most likely wont use there names and stuff, But anyways.... I love to go and look at her blog and get ideas for other pages or cards, just inspiration for my stuff period. But Sherrie if you read this, thank you very much for pointing me to her blog!!

Well its been quite a while hasn't it?? Like I said before, I don't always know what to write. But as of right now I have some new things going on. I have new books that I'm doing now! I love them, There cute little board books in different sizes. I've already added a few of the new books to my shop. I'm also putting some kits together and selling them on my site, so that if someone knows someone who's creative and think they might want to make a book them selfs, they can.

It seems like its been forever since I posted anything, but I guess its because it has been.
I had a small part in the EtsyMom newsletter. I introduced the new members and all the members birthdays. Our group is growing by leaps and bounds, Just in the month of January there were 97 new members and if any of you are reading this, Welcome to the group!!!
I've also been doing Donations request for the Scrappin Sister Passionately Pink fund raiser that I'm a part of. We've got some good responses so far. We also have small scrapbooking crops about once a month to help raise more money, this last Saturday was one of them and it was a blast and there was a great turn out!!! We had a blast. I've also had a great surprise with my parents moving here!!! I'm very close to my family, but because of my husbands job we moved. Not all of my family is around like it was whne we were younger but I have my parents around again, now I just need my sister and her family to move this way and my brother and his family to move this way. I would love to have all of them close.

Well I guess thats about it for right now, I'm not alway sure what to do here in my blog, reason being why I dont have many posts but I think I'm getting the hang of it. More later

New things to come

Well I'm trying to get new ideas and put out new things. I tend to get board if I do the same thing over and over again, as I know plenty of other people do as well. But right now I have a new card that I'll be putting in to my Etsy shop later this week. I love this card because it's the card and its holder all in one. I like it because it's cute and decorative on the outside, has a little tab on the inside to add just a little more to it and them you have your place to write your little note or letter to whom ever. Right now I just have them as Valentines, but there will be more to come and these will be in my store later this week. I'm also going to be working on a few different books. I'll post a peek of them later in the week!

The link above is for a blog by some girls here in Arkansas that
are trying to help in the fight against breast cancer. They've
asked me to part of there team to get fund raisers together and get
the word out to people here in Arkansas and everywhere else.
They're doing this for the Susan G. Komen's Passionately Pink for
the Cure campaign.

They are planning on having a crop in October to raise money, but
between now and then, they're also trying to come up with some
other events and activities. Some people are donating items for
door prizes at the crop or getting together for sales and other
events between now and them. The other events between now and
then aren't set in stone yet, but they will be here very soon.

Things are just now getting kicked off, but if you would like to
help in some way, even if it's just passing the word around,
please do! And if you would like to do more please let them know
on their blog or let me know. Please visit their blog and check
it off and on for new info.My blog is also keeping up with them
and things going on with it. I would love to encourage anyone
that has been affected, directly or indirectly, by this disease
to get involved in any way possible.

Trying new things

Well its a new year, so I thought I'd try something new as well. So now I have a blog, not completely sure what all I'm going to do with it but I guess I'll figure it out as I go. Thats one thing I want to do this year, I guess as kind of a resolution, is to go with the flow a little more. Instead of felling like I have to have everything planned. So maybe this will help. Never know.

I make scrapbooks, cards, tags and more. I haven't got everything put on my site yet, but I'm working on it. Its taken me a while to get things together and finding the time to make things is hard with two little ones, but I manage to do it and my husband helps.
